Privacy and cookies
What this website learns about you, what it is used for, and what you can ask of us. Under Turkish law this page is also the information notice (aydınlatma metni).

Who is responsible
This website, zersync.com, is run by ZERSYNC, the maker of the ZERSYNC software. ZERSYNC decides why and how the information described on this page is used.
For anything about your information, including the requests listed under "Your rights", write to us through the contact form on this website.
What we collect, and why
We collect information only when you send the contact form. Looking at the website does not create a record about you with us.
What you type
Your name, your e-mail address, your message and the answers you choose in the form. Your company name and telephone number, if you give them. We use these to answer you, and to prepare access to ZERSYNC when that is what you asked for.
What your browser sends
Your IP address, the name and version of your browser, the language the page was in, and the time. We use these to keep automated and abusive submissions out of the form.
The legal ground
We do not rely on your consent. We use this information because you asked us to do something before a possible agreement with you, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the form: Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and Article 5(2)(c) and (f) of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
We do not sell this information, we do not use it for advertising, and no decision about you is made by a machine alone.
How long we keep it
A message sent through the form, with everything listed above, is kept for 12 months from the day we receive it and is then deleted.
The counters that limit repeated submissions hold an IP address and an e-mail address. They are deleted automatically as soon as the limit they enforce has passed.
If you become a customer, what we need for that relationship is kept under the agreement between us.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. It has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, which is why it does not ask you to accept anything.
Your browser remembers four things on your own device, and none of them is sent to us: whether you chose the light or the dark theme, whether you chose English or Turkish, that you closed the cookie note shown on your first visit, and, after too many wrong company codes, the time at which you may try again.
When you send the form, Cloudflare's check may place a cookie that exists only to tell a person from a program. It is needed for the form to work and is not used to follow you.
You can clear all of this at any time from your browser's settings.
Your rights
You can ask us whether we hold information about you and for a copy of it. You can ask us to correct it, to delete it, or to limit how we use it. You can object to our using it, and you can ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere.
Under Turkish law these are the rights in Article 11 of Law No. 6698, which also include learning who the information was passed to and asking for compensation if you suffer damage because it was handled unlawfully.
Write to us through the contact form and say which of these you are asking for. We answer within 30 days and do not charge for it.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In Turkey that is the Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu).
If you use ZERSYNC at work
This page covers this website only. What your company records in ZERSYNC belongs to your company, which decides how it is used; we handle it on your company's behalf under our agreement with it. For questions about that information, ask your company first.
Changes to this page
When what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top shows when.
